START A JOB APPLICATION

To begin submitting an application on behalf of the applicant, a ADF Careers account must be created.

A candidate already exists with the email address provided.

Q. Have you started or completed an online application with this email before?

If yes and it's partial: confirm candidate is nearby a computer then walk candidate through the forgotten password process.
OR
If yes and it’s a submitted application: confirm candidate is in Powerforce, then transfer candidate to 13 19 02.
OR
If yes and it’s partial but not nearby a computer: send candidate a copy of the forgotten password recovery via email. Alternatively, enter candidate into Powerforce through new candidate application.

Note: the age of the applicant is between the age of 16 years and 16 years 6 months and as such they are only eligible at this time to apply for ADFA. Should they wish to apply for another job they need to wait until they are 16 years and 6 months.

Are you an Australian Citizen, or a Permanent Resident?

If candidate is a citizen, proceed with taking the application.
If candidate is a Permanent Resident, confirm they have applied for citizenship, or that they are willing to apply after their required 90 days of service.
If yes, proceed with taking the application.
If no, stop taking the application and direct them to the Citizenship requirements page on ADF Careers
